Westside Church
2026 Vision
Vision Statement for
Westside Church 2026
“To nurture faith, grow in love, and serve our community through Christ-centered worship, care, and action — equipping all generations to live as joyful witnesses of God’s grace.”
This vision continues our journey from 2025, focusing on deeper spiritual growth, active service, and intergenerational discipleship. It calls the whole congregation to live out faith in practical ways — through worship, care, and action that reflect God’s grace in everyday life.
This statement encapsulates key aspects from different groups:
Spiritual Growth and Teaching: Nursery, Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Bible Study, and Profession of Faith preparation.
Fellowship and Unity: Men’s Group, Women of Westside, Hospitality Committee, and Congregational Gatherings.
Service and Outreach: Missions Group, Westside Grows Committee, Westie Teddies for Comfort, Board of Managers, and Leading with Care.
Worship and Praise: Worship Committee, Choir, and Music Ministry.
Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 4:15-16 (NIV)
This passage reminds us that spiritual maturity and unity come from Christ, who strengthens and joins us together. Every member of Westside Church, young or old, is called to serve faithfully, building up the body of Christ in love. This scripture emphasizes our shared growth, teamwork, and the grace that holds our ministries together.
Growing Together
in Grace and Service.
